Russian economy is on the way to stable growth

The managing director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Christine Lagarde said Russia has done a good job maintaining macroeconomic stability given declining crude prices.

“Against the backdrop of falling oil prices, Russia had proceeded to, or would precede, she hopes, on the track of sustainable growth,” Russian Deputy Minister of Economic Development Stanislav Voskresensky quoted Lagarde after the APEC leaders’ meeting with the IMF managing director.

After a deep decline, Western companies start increasing investments in Russia, according to Bloomberg.

World famous corporations such as Ikea and Leroy Merlin invest billions of dollars into factories and outlets they plan to built in Russia. Earlier this year Ikea already opened a factory in Nizhny Novgorod investing 60 million dollars.

Pfizer in the russian industrial park

US pharma giant Pfizer and NovaMedica, a company created by Russian investment fund Rusnano and 

American venture health care fund, entered into the agreement to cooperate and develop new partnership for providing new medicine to the Russian market

A construction of a new manufacturing plant for NovaMedica company plans to be built in industrial park Vorsino, Kaluga region.


Hungary intends to work with Russia

The personal interest in joint projects, announced the Ambassador of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary in Russia.

Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Hungary in Russian Federation, Janos Balla visited the Voronezh region of Russia.

During the conversation with the governor of the region Alexei Gordeev diplomat said that Hungarian companies are willing to cooperate with the region in agricultural and industrial sectors.

Japan will establish the national office of Tourism in Russian Federation

Japan creates a national office of Tourism in Russia.

Japanese tourist representative office shall be opened in January 2017 in Moscow, said Valentin Shestak, deputy director of London office of the National Tourism Organization Japan.

Representive office will promote Japan in Russia and assist tourists.
